Face it- downsizing is a difficult experience for employees, managers, and agencies. Emotions run high, morale suffers, and productivity can drop. Effective employee transition programs help ease these problems and enable you to provide continuing service to your customers - the citizens of Ohio.

As a joint labor-management committee, the RWAC is dedicated to offering services to both bargaining unit and exempt employees during their transition. We can help you establish programs and plans to meet the unique needs of your employees.

Good worker adjustment programs don't occur overnight. Contact the RWAC for your region as soon as you begin planning for downsizing. We will work with you to help smooth the transition for your agency. This can include establishing your own worker adjustment committee if over 50 people may be affected by the process.
